Much like beef tallow, bison tallow offers a range of potential benefits, especially due to its rich, nourishing properties. The difference lies in their nutrient composition and benefits due to slight variations in the fatty acid profiles and the sources of the tallow. Bison tallow tends to have a higher ratio of omega-3 fatty acids. The higher omega-3 content in bison tallow makes it a strong anti-inflammatory ingredient, especially beneficial for irritated, inflamed, or red skin. Omega-3s help calm conditions like acne, rosacea, eczema, and general skin irritation. This makes bison tallow a good option for sensitive or reactive skin.

Since our products are made with natural ingredients, they can melt a bit during shipping in the warmer months. It’s totally normal and doesn’t affect how well they work.

If your item arrives a little soft or melted, just pop it in the fridge for a bit and it’ll firm back up. No harm done!
